PROBLEM SOLVED

ARE YOU WONDERING WHY MARGIE ISN'T UPDATING ALOT OF STUFF? MARGIE IS HERE TO TELL YOU WHY!!!

MARGIE: Why? Because some people aren't voting on the polls, and commenting. Remember, the more you comment and vote, the more news I'll be able to type. Oh my gosh I still need to pay my taxes........... bye.

AND... THAT WAS MARGIE TO TELL YOU WHY. OH- WHAT MARGIE??? OH, OK. SHE ALSO WANTS TO TELL YOU ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE.

MARGIE: I am in an ad called OVERWEIGHT PROBLEM and it's this merchandise that decreases you're weight in just a few days. I tried it and it worked. If it doesn't work, that means you are too overweight for the medicine to work. So, eat healthy and excersize just like what I do now, to prevent from getting overweight. The medicine is basically(I don't know if I spelled that right) a pill that has different kinds of flavors, such as strawberry, grape, melon, etc. So, buy this product and be more skinny so more people will think you look good. Eat healthy and excersize!!!

Here's another story!!!

MARY, THE GENIUS
By Margie Jiang

Once there was a girl, a beautiful girl, whose name was…Mary. Now, we’re not talking about the “Mary had a little lamb” story. This one is different because this story is about a girl in Washington, whose genius changed everything …
“Whoa! Slow down Mary!” Mary was a ten year old girl. She was bounding through the snow, making a blur to her dad. Snowflakes were falling. Mary caught little snowflakes on her tongue, while she ran and bounced. After a while, she stopped and rested under a large tree. Finally, Mary’s father came running toward her. He looked out of breath-and he was. “Next time, run slower. I know you are excited, but run slower,” he choked. ”Aw dad, you need to exercise. Besides, this is my first time seeing snow. Don’t you want me to enjoy what I see?” Mary asked, in her sweetest voice as she lay on the fluffy, white snow. “Well, next time, you stay by my side, OK?” said Mary’s dad, still panting. “Well… ok. Anyways, what’s in your hands pa?” asked Mary. The truth was that Mary’s dad was a hunter, but he never told Mary, for she loved animals. Now, Mary had never seen a REAL animal. Her dad brought her toy animals, which Mary thought was real. Mary’s dad looked in his hands. He knew that he had been caught. The only thing to do was to lie. Mary’s dad didn’t like lying so much. Whenever he lied, his nose twitched. Mary thought that the “nose twitching part” was weird. Anyway, as he held the dead snowshoe hare, Mary ran over to him. She held her nose in disgust. “Daddy, what is this? It doesn’t seem like an animal!” Mary complained. Uh! Mary’s dad couldn’t stand lying to his daughter! “Mary, uh- this- um- what- I’m- saying- is- um- sorry! This is a real animal! It is a snowshoe hare!!!” Mary’s dad blurted out. “What? This can’t be! How ridiculous! Daddy! Why did you kill it?! I can’t believe that it’s a real animal!” Mary said, confused. “I had to kill it for us to survive!” Mary’s dad answered. Mary burst into tears. She put her head on the snowshoe hare. Mary’s dad looked at the scene. Oh, why had he told Mary that the snowshoe hare was a real animal? Still, he felt relieved. Holding that comment in his mind didn’t feel so comfortable. Mary’s dad was still thinking about the comment when he and Mary were walking home after their exhausting adventure. Finally, they got home. Mary decided that she would go to the White House tomorrow, and make a speech. It’s just not right to kill animals. What if someone killed HER? That would be the same thing as killing animals! Someone’s got to do SOMETHING! It has to be someone brave enough to speak up, someone sturdy enough to get the people agree, and it has to be someone strong enough to avoid the look on the people’s faces. Mary was that person. She was brave. She was sturdy. She was strong. She was ready! That night, Mary couldn’t sleep. Why? She was thinking about what to say in the White House! It wasn’t as easy as Mary thought. She would have to prove that she was a genius. The next morning, Mary was excited. She jumped around the house like she was riding a horse that was out of control. “Whoa! What’s gotten into you today?” asked Mary’s dad. Of course, Mary hadn’t told him- not yet, but she will right now! “Daddy, I was wondering if I could make a speech at the White House.” Mary said. Once he heard this, Mary’s dad made no sound. “You could watch me.” pleaded Mary. “All right,” Mary’s dad said. YYYIIIPPPEEE!!! Mary’s heart gave a little jump.
At 1:00 pm, Mary went to the White House. She signed up on the “Who Wants to Give a Speech?” list. About one hour later, Mary found herself on the stage. She started speaking. “I think that we shouldn’t kill animals,” she began. The crowd was amazed that such a young, little girl was speaking to the president! “What if someone killed me? That is like killing animals! You’ve got to think about other things too. To me, I think that animals are treasures, great treasures, and precious treasures. They won’t last forever. Besides, they have given up their lives for ours! Now we have to thank them, but if you kill them, would that be a thank you? Did those animals even bother you? They might like you, and run around you, but if you kill them, why have they liked you in the first time? Think about it. Animals are disappearing from all over the world, and we’ve got to save them. If all animals are gone, what would we do? I hope you understand the lives of the animals,” Mary said, as a tear dropping from her eye. Everyone clapped after her speech. Mary was glad and proud. Everybody agreed! The president made a speech. He said that he agreed with Mary too. There should be no such thing as killing animals for two years. After a month, a law had been made. NO KILLING ANIMALS FOR TWO YEARS!!! it read. Mary was relieved. Having to see animals pass away is sickening. So, that’s the story of Mary, the genius of Washington. [Of course, that story was fiction.]
THE END!

STORIES!!!

I, Margie Jiang, have created many short stories throughout my life since I was about six or seven. Here is my latest story... it might need improvments, so please comment!!! The story:

Monster Mom

By: Margie Jiang

“Are you nervous, Louanne? Louanne? Answer me please. LOUANNE KEEN!!!” I snapped out of my daydream. “What? What were you asking me?” My father sighed. I could tell he was annoyed. “Louanne, I didn’t mean to raise my voice too loud, but you know I don’t like to repeat myself again and again. I asked you if you were nervous about meeting someone you don’t know.” “Oh, then here is my answer…” I paused for a moment. “Yes, yes I am nervous,” I finished as I looked at the dark night sky. My mom had died and my father was planning to marry another woman he liked that I didn’t know. Today was the day I would get to see her and visit her house in my dad’s new blue convertible. My father had already been driving 6 hours to get to Rainbow City, Mist Island where the woman lived. He had only stopped from driving 4 times… eating food, buying stuff, drinking, and getting me a little stuffed doggie I wanted. “My father must be tired,” I thought as I hurried back to wondering about my new mom. I wonder what she was like. Would she like me? I began thinking of other questions when SCREECH!!! The car halted to a stop. Finally we were there. I dragged my nervous little feet out the door. Around me were colorful and cheerful little houses with the sunlight on them, making them sparkle. I glanced around, seeing more beautiful sights. My dad pointed to a beat-up old house across the street with the house number, 3248. It was on Creepy Avenue, the only spooky place on the island. That was the only house that wasn’t so cheerful. In fact, it was gloomy and it didn’t have any sunlight which made it look frightening. “That’s the one,” he said. I gulped. That house was scary enough to make me puke! The windows were shattered and the door had a vampire face on it. The doorknob was shaped like a teeth and it was red, like blood! “Are you sure that’s the one?” I asked my dad. There had to be a mistake, but I was wrong. “Yes, honey. The house looks torn and scary, but I called a carpenter and asked him to come fix the house. He will be here in no time!” my father said cheerfully. I couldn’t understand what was so nice and happy. Feeling the goosebumps on my arms, I followed my dad to the house. My dad knocked on the vampire face. I screamed as a black cat came out of the door. Black cats were supposed to bring you bad luck!!! What else could happen? I got my answer as a young lady opened the door. She smiled and held out her hand to shake. I smiled back. My father was right. She was very polite and nice. I leaned a little closer to shake her hand when I noticed a big red mark on her teeth. Could it be blood? I shivered. The lady grinned and said in a spooky tone, “Nice to meet you, Louanne. Your handsome father told me all about you. I’m Ms. Vampie, your future mother.” I backed up a little. Her name sounded like Ms. Vampire. Maybe she was a vampire!!! “Could it be?” I asked myself. What about the blood? How about the dark house, and the shattered windows? I had heard that vampires love to live in the dark. The house was all black and dark with only one faded little red lantern. Ms. Vampie led us into her home. I gulped. This was my worst nightmare. It had to be a dream. “Wake up, Louanne! Wake up!” I said to myself. “Um, may I ask, why are you slapping yourself?” A voice asked. I opened my eyes again and expected to see my bright and cheerful room with my dad at the door, but instead, I saw a face right in front of me, blinking. It was Ms. Vampie! “Ah!!!” I cried. “I want to go home!!!” “Now, now, you haven’t seen the rest of my house yet,” Ms. Vampie said, backing up from my face. She help up the red lantern and began walking again. My father followed her and beamed. "Isn't she gorgeous?" he asked. "Uh... yeah, sure. Very gorgeous," I replied. My dad smiled and said, "I knew you would like her. She is beautiful!!!" I groaned. He was love sick!!! I thought I saw hearts in his eyes. Ew! I stopped and tried to tiptoe quietly so I could escape. The black cat stared at me. I whispered," Hey cat, promise you won't tell Ms. Vampie that I escaped. Promise?" The cat meowed. "I'll take that as a yes, promise. Good cat, "I praised. "Now I have to hurry out of here!!! As sly as a ninja, I crwled on the floor to the door so Ms. Vampie and my dad wouldn't see me. Suddenly, the cat meowed loudly. I covered my ears. The echo's bounced off the wall. Ouch. My ears hurt. 5 seconds later, I heard footsteps. "Uh, oh," I thought. It probably was Ms Vampie!!! I covered my eyes so I wouldn't see my self die. "Louanne!!! Bad girl!" A voice said. "You know better than running off!" I slowly opened my eyes. In front of me was my dad. I sighed a sigh of relief. Then I said, "I'm sorry daddy. I won't wander around anymore." There. I said sorry. I paused. "Where's Ms. Vampie?" I asked. "In the kitchen. She is making a nice, refreshing drink for us. Hurry if you want some," replied my dad. "Follow me or else you won't get any drinks." "I'll pass. I don't feel very well. Maybe because... uh...I am... full," I said hoarsely. "You DO look a little pale," said my dad calmly. "Come on. I'll show you the bedrooms and then you can rest a bit while I go get something to drink." I had no choice but to go with my dad. I sighed. At least my dad could protect me from being eaten by my future mom, the vampire. As we were walking, I remembered I was in a spooky house. I gulped. Thinking about that made me shiver. I leaned towards my father’s ear and whispered, “Can we go home now? I’m scared. We already saw most of her house. This is enough for me.” My dad looked at me. His face against the red lantern looked like he drank blood. He whispered back, “No! You didn't even rest yet. It is indeed very bad to leave a person’s house without appreciating what she has in store for you! You should even be happy that she actually is showing you her wonderful house! I know it’s scary, but the carpenter will fix everything!!!” I rolled my eyes. I wasn’t appreciating anything. Soon, we were done touring her home. As I pulled my dad away before he said goodbye, I noticed that his teeth were red too!!! “D-d-daddy, why are your teeth red?” I asked. “Oh, about that. Remember when I said that I was going to get a drink from Ms. Vampie? The drink was fruit punch. It was satisfying- and delicous for the first time ever!!! I also ate a chicken wing and some sour worms. Those weren't as good as the fruit punch though." I winced. My dad was so different. He usually hated fruit punch! Even if he tried to drink it he would still throw up. He also hated anything that was sour. So, why now? Another type of food he had always hated were animals. Chicken wings belonged to animals. He should be complaining about the chicken right now!!! Something was wrong, and I needed to find out, or else my father and I could be in great danger!!! Well, mostly I. What was next? Him, eating flies? Or-or-or, him ea…ea…eating m-m-me?! I planned to find out what was wrong… in the morning. Vampires sleep in the morning, so I would sneak out my house, ask my best friend’s dad to drive me to Creepy Avenue, go into Ms. Vampie’s house, and find out what Ms. Vampie (or should I call her Ms. Vampire) had done to my father. I loved him just too much. I already lost my mom. Losing my dad too would be worse, and being stuck with a vampire is so not going to happen! I wouldn’t want to die just like every other member in the family. I’d rather eat the foods I absolutely hated- Zucchini and oysters. Yuck. Very gross, but really, I’d rather do that. I had to be careful when I’m sneaking in Ms. Vampie’s house- or else… or else…I could become her next dinner!!!

BACK- TO- SCHOOL- TIPS FROM MARGIE JIANG:

Hi. I'm Margie, one of the M&M Sisters. I know, big fan of me? Thanks. Anyways, let's focus on our topic. I'm here to talk to you about-... um... what was it?... uh... heh, heh... ooopsies. I think I forgot. Wait, oh yeah. Back-to-school tips, am I right? I'm right? Ok. I'm already!!! First thing you gotta do is choose your outfit. Try not to wear a long dress or else you can't play and run. Instead, wear skirts, shirts, blouses, anything else that's your style and NOT a dress. Second, jewelry alert. Don't wear too much jewelry. It just doesn't look like you. Oh, and DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT wear any makeup, unless you are a teacher. Just act natural. You don't need makeup or perfume and stuff just to make friends and be popular. It is you that make people want to be your friends. Not just because of your bling- bling bling!!! Oh no! Something is going to happen...uh- oh...I'm feeling something coming to me with my laughter!!! Watch out...here it comes...ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!! I even laugh at my own jokes. Whoo! Ok, back to advices. Now where was I? Oh yeah. Third rule. Don't try to be someone else. If your friend likes something that you think is yucky, then don't say,"Oh yeah. I love that!" Tell them that you don't like it, but there is no problem if she or he gets it. Last rule. Wow. We are getting through this very fast. Be yourself throughout the whole school year. Act natural and think positive. Will friends like you if you are mean or rude? It's not all about your beauty on the outside. Look on the inside. If a person is not exactly the most best looking, but still is very kind and sweet, he or she would make a really good friend. If a person is so pretty with all the bling, but he or she is really rude, then that is not the person you are looking for. Remember, think outside the box. You are a really nice human being and you appreciate who you are. No matter whatever people say, you are you today. Wait. I'll sing it that line again. No matter what people say, you are you today. So enjoy life with a smile, always. Ignore people who get in the way too much and that are mean. That's the end of my advices. Have fun!!! Bye! Be confident, be strong, be yourself.

Petty

On August 21, 2008, Margie and Melody went to Petco to find the perfect fish. They came upon a male betta, with sparkly blue and purple skin. Margie liked that one, and Melody did too, so they bought it. Since they bought the fish at Petco, Melody and Margie decided to name it Petty. At night, Margie kissed the Petty goodnight and went to bed. The next morning, it was time to put Petty into his new home. Margie got a small fish net and tried to dig up Petty. It was hard! Petty kept swimming too fast for Margie to dig up. Finally she got it, but Petty flopped around too much and landed on the table. Margie grabbed him, and all was safe again. In the tank, Petty swam happily around. Margie was glad she got Petty inside the tank before it was too late. He could have died! Thankfully, he didn't, so Margie was releived.

MELODY LOST

Bad News. Today, August 22, 2008, I, Mark, just found out that Melody lost in the USA World Showcase. She didn't even get 4th place! Oh well. Anyways, people who voted, Melody really appreciated your help and votes. She did get to the top ten, after all. Well, thank you! Hey, Jessica don't cry. It's ok if Melody lost. "I know. It's just that we worked so hard!" Hey, it's ok. "I know. I'm better now." BYE!

THE PARTY

Wow! The party was awesome!!! All of Margie and Melody's fans were crowding around them, asking for autographs. We had a "bobbing for apples" contest and Margie won. There was also an egg drop contest. Jane, Jessica's younger sister, had the idea of a foam- and- cotton-box. She dropped it, and I saw that the egg didn't even crack. Wow! I really enjoyed the party. Miley Cyrus and Ashley Tisdale were there, signing autographs and taking pictures. They also sang their hit songs, Miley Cyrus: Driveway, Ashley Tisdale: He said She said. Oh, and of course I took some pictures of the M&M Sisters, but since this computer is not able to show me the pics, I'll show you later, ok? Anyways, I loved the food! There were noodles, cookies, egg rolls, salad, grilled cheese sandwiches, and more!!! My favorite food was the fried chicken strips. Crunchy on the outside...tender on the inside. I also loved the drinks. There were fruit punch, apple juice, orange juice, lemonade, pink lemonade, sprite, vitamin drinks, and gatorade. When I was drinking pink lemonade, I fell in love with it and asked for more. It was delicous!!! Then, everyone gathered around to hear Margie and Melody's past. Everybody was laughing very hard after Margie and Melody was done. The M&M Sisters were absoulutley hilarious!!! After that, Miley Cyrus and Ashley Tisdale announced that they have a present to give the M&M Sisters. "A gift, for us? You are too kind," Margie said. They unwrapped the present and inside it was... all they ever wanted!!! A cute little puppy! Miley gave Margie the dog supplies and Ashley hauled the puppy into Melody's arms. I went to pet the puppy and asked, "what are you going to name this pup?" Margie answered back. "I'll name it, Selena." Everyone clapped and cheered. Margie hugged Miley and thanked her. Melody hugged Ashley and thanked her. Then, everyone picked up their belongings and left the room. The party had ended. Ok. That's it. Bye!

Drama Interview with M&M Sisters

Ok. Today is the day to interview the M&M Sisters. We are here at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel- with Margie and Melody by our side. First up- it's Margie!!!

In: Hi. I'm here to interview you. Now tell me, we all know you as the older M&M sister, am I right?
M: Good one. You are absoulutely correct.
In: Neat. It's not everyday you get to meet a future star! Is it?

In: Two! Nice.
M: I know. It feels so good!

M: Ha ha! You are so funny. Where did you get your sense of humor? I don't have it often.
In: Ha ha! Oh. You just used it.
M: What?
In: That was funny- sense of humor!
M: Cool. I actually made someone laugh.
In: Ha! Another good one! You are a natural.
M: Thanks! You are a natural too. Everybody's a natural!
In: You are right.
M: All you have to do is be confident, be strong, and just be yourself.
In: *Sniff, sniff* That was very touching.
M: Thanks. I like to say that very often. It kind of like my slogan.
In: Wow. Alright! I think we are done here. Let's say bye!
M: Bye! Remember, be confident, be strong, be yours-
Cameraman: And...cut!
M: Hey! I didn't even get to finish my sentence. Put the video back on, please.
In: Oh well. Wait, the video is still recording. It recorded our voice already! Let me go and talk to Mark for a second.

LOVE DANCE!!!

The M&M Sisters love to dance! They do dance competitions at a studio in Fremont. The studio is called Yoko's Dance and Performing Arts Academy. This is what they want to say about dancing:

MARGIE:

I absoulutely love to dance!!! This studio is totally amazing! I started dancing when I was three and danced at another studio called Dance Attack. Then I moved here and making friends was really cool and popular. Especially my best friend Maria Sim. She is so flexible!!! I think she is very nice too. The dance competitions are very fun!!! I went to KAR, Showstopper, Star System, Hall of Fame, Star Power, KAR Nationals, and Showstopper Nationals. In 2008, at KAR Nationals, one of my dances called Remembrance got first and ended up as the National Primary Champions!!! That was AmAzInG! You can never put dancing at the bottom of the my favorite things to do list. Instead, put it on the top of the list! Well, that's it. Bye for now!

MELODY:

Dancing feels so good! It can express your feelings. Sad...angry...happy. The feeling totally melt in you heart. You can never give up dancing! I started when I was three at this studio. Dancing is my dream. I just say go for it! There is nothing that you can't do. You just have to try harder! That's it. Bye!

Don't you just feel like dancing now since they explained all about it? You can!!! Go to http://www.yokosdance.com/ and visit all the things that you could do... just like Margie and Melody. Have fun! Oh, by the way, here are Margie and Melody's favorite teachers in the studio:

MARGIE:

Hannie Dong
Ali
Lindsey Carson
Yasmina

National American Miss

On August 1, 2008, Melody and Margie went to a pageant called National American Miss. There, they did a(n) introduction, interview, a talent show, and a pageant. While they were there, they met lots of kind and new friends. Here are the results:

Jr. Pre-Teen,
MARGIE JIANG:

Jr. Pre-Teen State Finalist
Best Thank-you note winner
Jr. Pre- Teen Talent winner

Princess,
MELODY JIANG:

Miss Princess 3rd runner up

Princess State Finalist
Best Thank-you note 1st runner up
Princess Talent Winner

Now wasn't that cool and just awesome? You can do that too, but first let's see what Melody and Margie have to say about this experience.

MARGIE:

"It was terrific. Not only did I win two things, but I also made wonderful new friends!!! There names are:
Ariana
Stacey

I want to thank them for being so nice and so friendly. Anyways, I am not upset that I didn't get to be the winner- Miss Jr. Pre-Teen. Making new friends and new discoveries is way more cooler!!! That only was my first time. I'm sure I can win next time if I try even harder and believe in myself. I am confident, I am strong, I am me."

MELODY:

"National American Miss is amazing!!! I made new friends and met some very nice people in the staff. In the beggining of the National American Miss Princess show, all the princess contestants and I performed a dance that the NAM(National American Miss)choreoghrapher's made up. It was very fun! The song was "Walking On a Sunshine". I love the music!!! Aaah... anyways, I just want to thank my mom for giving me this oppurtunity to shine and just be in the spotlight by myself. I also want to thank my dad for going there and cheering me on. He also went with me during the pageant. Walking me onstage...holding my arms...giving me flowers. So magical!
Remember, you can do that too. Just go to http://www.nationalamericanmiss.com/ or go to http://www.google.com/ and type in National American Miss Pageant. Either way, you will definetly have fun.
